How to clean dirty...

After washing and waxing my 06 Supercrew, I have accumilated quite a few "dirty" terry cloth towels and wax applicators. Am I able to wash these and reuse them or do I just throw them out and buy new every time I clean the truck up?

What is the best way to wash them? With laundry soap. etc?

Thanks,

I launder towels individually by type... all terry, all MF drying towels... all 'top quality' MF towels... other MF towels.

I do often clean applicators individually as well.

Machine wash HOT. No fabric softener. I add a tablespoon of vinegar per towel in the rinse cycle.

microfiber (towels, applicators, bonnets, etc.)

Very nice to get to prevent swirls. Also, they have lots of "nap" (places in the fibers to trap dust/dirt), so they are great with QD (quick detailer) sprays, waxes, polishes, etc.

neutralizes any remaing solvent/soap in the towels.. helps prevent streaking, and makes the towels a little softer.

I use distilled white vinegar..

I also use the extra rinse cycle, and add the vinegar right before this cycle..

I have a "don't", and not a "do". Don't launder MF towels with regular bath towels. They become extra linty rather than lint-free.
