waterspots on windshield

what will take the water spots off of my windshield?

vinegar. mix it a bit.

Also, that spray and shine type stuff you can get from the auto places can.

This will work pending the water spots aren't actually etched. Try the vinegar trick before purchasing this though... that has worked for me as well.

What you're doing is taking a weak acid to dissolve the mineral deposits left behind by the water droplets. Vinegar is a nice acid to use for this task. Again, don't get it on your paint.

I just use Zaino glass cleaner.

Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) mixed w/ lemon juice works well too.

if you are fairly confident with a rotary buffer try a meg's 8006 cutting pad with meg's medium cut cleaner. This will take them out also and polish up the glass.
