Thanks all.... I think next time I'm going to try deep crystal with a DA..... I found a DA at auto zone for like 35 bucks, we'll see if it's any good

Use at your own risk... it may work out, it may not. The main part you need to be concerned with on that machine is the pad or bonnet or whatever they gave you for application... obviously, this is the 'business' end of the machine and, if used with a crappy 'business' end, you can induce far more bad than you'll create good.

You mean the DA or the deep crystal? Is there anything I should know about using deep crystal, I dont want to jack my paint up or anything.... What pads and such work best for a first timer such as myself?

The 'DA'. Is it a true 'DA'? As for pads, Lake County or Meguiar's foam pads.

Polishing pad for steps 1 & 2... Finishing pad for 3.

Then only the fine cut version with the DA. I haven't tried it yet...waiting to get back from the last Off-road of the year.
