Here's a newbie question...

I have a '97 4x4 XLT and was wondering how I can get the underside of the truck to look new again...I am considering getting it undercoated but how do you clean off all the rust?

 

easiest way is to buy a wire brush and go to town on the loose stuff. when doing the undercoating (a DIY definately), focus on the crimps on the body where road salt and/or gravel would set and by the doors. those are the high spots that you need to worry most about. good luck!
