Question Car wash soap

Presently i'm using Turtle Wax brand.Any other good ones out there? I noticed some "Cherry" wash at Advance auto.Is that the "Cherry" wash I see being talked about on detail forums?

I use theTurtle Wax brand soap myself... Never had a problem. Cheap, lots of suds...

Others may have their favorites, but I say go with what you know.... and enjoy using.

Can't beat what you enjoy using. I like Meguiar's Gold Class soap or Meguiar's M62 the most. But if you want a cherry scented carsoap, then Meguiar's also makes a product in their Detailer line called Super Soap.

A year or two back, when I was running out of the detergent I was using at the time (Armor All Car Wash Concentrate) I decided to go out and try a few different products to see what I liked best.

Hands down, the winner in my experiment was Meguiar's Gold Class. Most of the detergents performed about the same as far as their cleaning properties. However, it seemed obvious to me that the lubricating qualities of the Meguiar's Gold Class was head-and-shoulders above the other products I tried.

One down side -- the Meguair's Gold Class really seems to leave you with "dish pan" hands! Everytime I use it I have to put my wife's Lubriderm on my hands that night before I go to bed because my hands are so dry!

I agree about the lubrication effect on the Meguiar's Soap...it feels like you have a lot more wax on the truck than you really do...which is good to minimize damage during the wash.

I personally mix Gold Class AND the Meguiar's NXT and it's awesome

I wouldn't rally recommend Super Soap to the average driveway washer. This stuff is very concentrated and probably is a poor choice for any one other than a 'bulk' detailer.

Stick with a product like Gold Class or another 'consumer' product.
