Time to clean up (dial-up warning)

I have let my truck go all winter without cleaning the under carriage. Thought you might enjoy following along with me as I clean the truck this week.

Here is my starting point pics from this evening....

So far I have all the frame and rearends clean. Also have the back sides of the wheels and tires clean. I think I spent an all time new record just on frame cleanup this evening of 5.5 hours. Check back for dressed undercarriage pics tomorrow.

What tool/machine did you use to apply the swirl remover? Did you do over it with a coat of wax afterwards? I have a bottle of that stuff and I really want to do the hood of the truck due to hard water stains but I don't know if it will take it off.

Looks good bud... My wells/frame/undercarriage is where all of the dressings that I dislike go to die.

Hey RL, are those headlight covers or just tinted headlights? Also, do you have to legally take them off at night, because it looks like they would be a pain to get off and on with the brush guard there.

The are covers. It takes around 30 seconds to get them on or off. You can't see at night with them, but I don't get out much at night.
