What takes off Blue Pen marks on the Dash?

I was cleaning the inside today and noticed somehow a 3 inch mark of blue pen is on the dashboard of this Mountaineer I have. Its on the passengerside airbag cover. I tried to wipe it with soup and water, but that didn't work.

I'm scared to use any cleaners yet since I don't know what will fad or take color out of the dash at all if any? what have you guys used to take pen marks out that won't damage the dash?

Try using the Magic Eraser. My kids did the same thing on my center console. A little bit a elbow grease and it came off!

was it Campbell's Chunky because that wont work. you need to use Campbell's tomato and use milk because it makes it more creamy.

rubbing alcohol will disolve the chemical compounds in the ink and will not harm the dash.

whatever you try...use it in an inconspicuous area first and let it dry to make sure there is no discoloration.

Exclamation Armor All Cleaner Wipes

I've had good luck getting stains like that and boot polish as well, off with the Armor All Cleaning Wipes (purple container I think). Im a military guy and now matter how hard I try, I always seem to get boot polish on my kick panels. Tried and tried diff stuff to get the scuffs off but had no luck until the cleaning wipes. They take it right off with almost no scrubbing.

Magic Eraser is the bomb. It removed alot of scuffs that otherwise wouldn't come out. Should work great on removing pen marks. However, as others have said, try on a small spot first to see if there is discoloration or not.

I cleaned the pen ink mark off my dash, but to me a huge problem

I used alcohol cleaner as some of you said it wouldn't fade the dash, and your right, it didn't fade the dash where I used it, it just made the dash where the pen mark was on look like a mirror It made the spot I used it on extremely shinny. so now theres a circle about 2 inches by 2 inches of mirror like finish. now what do I do?

ahh dude penmarks are bad haha, its easy to remove the ink as alot of ppl have said above here, but also depends if its pressed in you might never get the pushed in mark out, can always get a new airbag cover also
