Did you use it to remove any significant scratches in the body?

Glad to hear it took the oxidation off for you... I like the product but wish it was easier to work with using a machine...

Yes Ihad noticable oxidation on my passenger side door, just below the window. a spot that was the lenght of the window and about 6 inches down.
This scatch x stuff took the oxidation right off! Then I used it on minor scratches around the key hole and they vanished also... great stuff. and easy to use.

I guess I'm expecting too much from it. I've got a few light scratches that it simply will not remove (and they aren't deep). Once spring hits I'm going to tackle it again but I've never been "awed" by scratch-x. Of course it could be the user.

Did you use it onthe whole vehicle? I thought it was very hard to work with unless it was only a small spot. For oxidation I perfer to use a more of a chemical cleanr, like klasse all in one, or color x. They do a good job and are easy to use.

No, I only used it on the spot below the window. it was a section about the size of a key board. I only used it for oxidation after I heard how it worked out for others, and it also says oxidation on the tube of scratch x. However I will be willing to try another idea if the oxidation comes back.
As far as hard to use??? It compared to lets say old school turtle wax as far as ease of on and off. So no you would not want to do the whole truck with it. but if you were bored and just did one section at a time it might be worth while if your truck is older like mine and has swirls and MINOR scratches on it.

I just used it on the Excursion to removed some major blemishes. Worked out perfectly. However, it refuses to remove some light scratches on my F150.

All scratch removers have one thing in common-they don't remove scratches. They are wonderful glass cleaners though. Be careful if your windows are tinted it may harm the tint.

As long as the scrtch does not go thruogh the clear, I can get out any scratch with a little TLC.

Not entirely true.

Many have copius amounts of fillers but, some 'DO' remove the problem rather than mask it. Most use a combination of both fillers and light abrasive action to accomplish the task -- especially the consumer branded ones.
