Help...Overspray on plastic trim

I work in all the chemical plants and refineries on the Texas Gulf Coast. Friday I got white overspray on my new black king ranch f150. Used the "clay magic" products to get most of the overspray off of the paint. However, I'm not able to get any of the overspray off the plastic (mainly side mirrors).

Should I try the nail pollish remover/water mixture? Any suggestions would be great?

I use a pencil eraser to get wax and stuff off my black plastic trim! Works on wax, try it for overspray!

DO NOT USE NAIL POLISH REMOVER. That textured plastic will discolor to a grey/white color with something as harsch as NP remover. The eraser is the best idea, carefully. That plastic will discolor and look horrible, trust me I know after I had to buy a customer a new mirror since an idiot employee did something like that a couple years back!!!

Argh...

I keep kicking around the idea of opening a full shop and trying to make it work as my 'real job' versus the environmental consulting sector.... then I read things like this and hear the other horror stories that come out of the business. I'm not sure I'd manage that situation very well after my employee did something like that...

Well, you have to remember RP, in order to turn a profit you can't have 20 of yourself, cause you couldn't afford 20 competent people. You just try and pick the most competent of the least competent and train those monkeys

Well put. Thus is true of just about everything out there from a 'small business' standpoint I suppose... and, god help this world if there were 20 of me. LOL!
