Problem Spots

I have small particles (combination of VHT&Rubber) stuck on the quarters behind my rear tires. It will not come off with washing, clay, or paint cleaner. I'm guessing that when the rubber hit the paint it was very HOT from heating up the tires. Then it melted into the paint. Some of the spots even have thin fibers sticking out of the them.

Thanks for any help.

Here is one of the spots.

3m Adhesive Remover. Very paint friendly. I think it's available at Auto Zone. I highly recommend this stuff as it is murder on any sticky stuff and will NOT hurt your paint

That's what I was going to suggest as well... allow it a little bit of 'dwell' time on the spots as it'll need some time to work on it...

Once removed (hopefully this will work -- what's VHT?), be sure to go back over these areas with your favorite wax or synthetic as the 3m AR will remove wax as well...

G'luck!

VHT TrackBite is an exclusive formulation designed to offer controlled traction for competition drag facing. VHT TrackBite is a liquid track and fire treatment which improves traction by means of adhesion, and does not soften tyres or the track surface. The 2.5 litre (SP162.2) and 15 litre (SP162.15) sizes are ideal for street racing, bracket racing and slalom competition.

VHT TrackBite (SP163.55), Drag Strip Formula, 205 Litre Drum is a high solids, quick setting liquid track treatment designed specifically for drag track racing competition. This exclusive formulation is designed to offer controlled traction, quicker times and create more exciting racing. VHT Trackbite sets faster, stays tacky for weeks, and will not run off, even in heavy rains. This original competition formula will increase race competition and times better than any other track treatment available. VHT TrackBite was applied to the track surface at every NHRA and IHRA race when world drag strip records were set over the past decade.

VHT Trackbite contains no petroleum distillates, will not soften track or adversely affect tyre performance or life.

That's definitely a new one to me... sorry bud, I'm not sure what to suggest there.
