I hear ya 98 Navi. I've never had a scratch in my paint from any automated wash. About the only thing they suck at is getting the wheels and tires clean. But I do that when I get home anyway.

The automated car wash I went to had those soft rubber wraps. I don't think it would do any damage at all to any vehicle's paint job. Now exhaust pipes are another thing.
