rust on chrome bumper

rust on chrome bumper

Its not too bad, but regular chrome polish won't take it out.

My sister had the same problem (actually worse) on her Pathfinder and my friend detailed it and took out everything except where it had pitted right through the chrome plating.

He no longer works there, but he said they used "some really strong acid stuff". I was wondering if any of you guys know what it is and where it can be found. I checked PepBoys, but nothing jumped out at me as being what I needed and the people working there know more about the damn mini-bikes than the car products.
