Mud out of the engine

I take my truck muddin and the engine compartment is defently showing that now.

I know you have to cover such things as alternator, fuse box, air filter.

But is there any other way to get all the mud out, mostly off the headers and such.

I guess I might have to just use a lot of elbow grease, but just wondering if there were any other options?

thanks

Compressed air is a very good helper here... I'd suggest not spraying your compartment down with H20...
