Waxing and detailing a non-clear coat finish

I'm curious if one can use similiar products{waxes, polishes, clay bars, etc.} on a non-clear coat finish without damage, or do you have to use special products. I'm referring to a car that has been re-painted. Thanks.

I use "normal" products on my old mustang. It does not have a clearcoat.

Clear is just paint without pigment in it.

Yes, you can use the same products. You'll notice the color wearing off on the pad/towel you're using through. It's normal though.
