I've been using that Greased Lightning Automotive All Purpose Cleaner for a regular APC around the garage and dilluting it for use on my truck. I've noticed though that this product is extremely strong and is full of bad fumes. I was wonder if either Meguiars APC or Safe - Degreaser had the same strong fumes? I need to find a new product because this Greased Lightning is killing me.

Not to mention that the stuff is what it says, greasy.

APC+ was one of the best products that Meguiar's made in my opinion... too bad they discontinued it...

As for Safe DG, it's a very good product. The fumes are minimal. Beyond that, I'd discontinue utilizing a VERY caustic product like Greased L around the wheels...

Snag a gallon of Safe DG... I'm certain you'll like it and find just as many uses for it as Greased L.

The Meguiars APC I was refering to was D10101. From reading what Meguiars says about it, it sounds more like just an interior cleaner then an all purpose cleaner.

I've used the new APC but don't remember much about it honestly... Used it out in Irvine when it was getting ready to be unveiled to the public. Haven't heard much chatter about it around the boards either... so, not sure about it.

I know the late/great APC+ (the + was a touch of fabric softener) was a KILLER product. Too bad they discon'd it with the D-line overhaul.
