My six week old truck got nailed on the front bumper cover, right above the driver-side tow-hook. I just stared in utter disbelief for about 15 minutes. No paint discoloration, probably thanks to fast action and lots of wax (6 or 7 coats since I got the truck). BUT, I do have a nice little gouge, all the way to the plastic, as well as some less severe scratching adjacent to it. 2 helpings of ScratchX didn't help too much. Damn Vandals...

 

I feel your pain, brother. Our daughter's new car was less than 2 weeks old when it got hit with a few eggs. Actually was able to buff out most of the damage using my PC. What I couldn't fix was chipped to the primer; no matching touch-up in stores yet. Talked to my agent, made him aware of what happened and we agreed to wait a while in case something else happens, then I'll just make a claim on my comp policy. Would love to catch 'em in the act; I'd even offer to use my PC to get the scratches out of their tooth enamel!!
