Mr. Clean auto dry is the best!

I have a black fx4, flareside and the tie downs in the rear always hold water right? The solution to this was not to remove them but Mr. Clean auto dry. This thing is so awesome! Not one single spot on the whole truck! Totally worth the 18.00 I paid for it. The only fallback is the filter provided only lasts for three washes, I dont know how much replacements are, but I'm sure they are reasonable, the gun also spews out your soap and has a fairly well pressured rinse setting. I highly reccomend this product to anyone with the flareside for the tiedowns alone.

I have used the Mr. Clean for years but once I tried the Absorber (per others recommendations) I'll never go back.

I've used the absorber before and it doesn't compare to the big blue towels. These hold a ton of water. Best finish to a good care wash.

asinatra did you use it correctly? I only ask because I wash my truck at my girlfreinds dads house and he has well water. That is why I was so impressed. His water is very hard and I mean not one spot baby! Hey has anyone installed the "turbonator" or the "tornado"? If so I would apprecciate your input I have to do something about the gas mileage. Thanks guys

Once you get a leaf blower you'll never go back.

Preferably a back-pack blower.

I just go for a quick sprint on the freeway after washing.

I have the original Mr Clean Auto Dry but does anyone have the new updated one? I was thinking about upgrading. It's supposed to be a lot nicer.

I've been wanting to try that thing out but heard it really depends a lot on how hard your water is.

It took less than an hour to do the work to remove them and for me to drill holes in the back. Some people use a file to cut a groove but I wanted a hole so I could blow air behind it. Here's my fix: https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=208157

I do believe I have the new one. I bought it two weeks ago. It has a soap spray setting, a spray setting, (pretty strong) and a spot free setting. I dont know how many filters the old one had but this has two different types of filters on it. No matter how hard the water is it still will work. The filters just will not last as long. This thing is awesome. You can all quote me "no spots" I promise.

I'm sold on it too. I only use it for the final spot free rinse though, and ya the filters are good for 3 washes max on our big trucks.
As far as i can tell the newer one is black instead of blue and has a higher pressure rinse setting, i think thats it.

Try a micro fiber towel - cheap and no water marks.

Are you sure? should only be 1 cartidge.

I personally still follow it up leisurely w/ a microfiber towel and a Bud Light after i've driven it around the block to get off the excess water. It's usually a pretty fun drive too.
