Anyone have problems with custom Trailer Hitch Covers

Hi,

I decided to take my dealer hitch cover off, dealer doesnt pay me for advertising them, and replace with my favorite college, OU, cover. I put a masterlock reciever hitch lock in it to make sure it wouldnt be stolen, which means it would have to broken it off, it was plastic. Well, 24 hours later and its gone. I live close half an hour, to OSU so i guess thats the reason.

Anyways I was just wondering if anyone else had problems with their hitch covers like this one I had, and how much does an all metal one cost that can't be broken.

Sam

A gun works great

You know one thing I've learned in life is that you will always have to deal with people stealing things off your truck that can be removed/broken off without tools. Especially if this item is sports related to a team in your area. I have a Kansas City Chiefs magnet on my truck (which I move around) and have had it for months without getting stolen. I live in Norfolk, VA, I'm like the lone Chiefs fan around here, but I guarntee a Raiders fan will steal it sometime during the upcoming NFL season.

I know a lot of guys who put NRA stickers on their truck, it's better then a truck alarm.

Man I remember when people used to gank headlight and taillight covers. (Back when they were in style) I ended up screwing mine in my taillights. I hate thiefs.
