Thanks to one and all. I want clean tires with bright white letters but not at the expense of my wheels. You have given me very good ideas so I have printed them and will head to Advance Auto and Auto Zone this evening. If these products are not available here I can order from Auto Geek on line. Until I can find or order just what I want I can use a Brillo Pad like I did in the 50's to clean those "Gangster Wall" tires on my Dad's Buick.

Kenny, there are a lot of good products out there, I'm sure you will find something in AutoZone that will work perfect for you. In the end it's just going to take a good brush and a little bit of elbow grease.
