Question Can i wait a week or so to wax after i use clay?

Because i don't have time to wash, wax, and clay the same day, can i clay the truck, then when i have time again, maybe another week, wax after i have washed the truck again? Or is it better toi do it all at the same time?

You can wait if you want. It really won't hurt much waiting a week or so. Try to see if you can fit in polishing also as clay can sometimes add small scratches to the paint that can easily be polished out.

I'd say you should tackle the truck in sections. Say, this weekend clay, polish, and wax the Hood and Fenders. Next weekend do the cab of the truck, and so on.

Waiting a week shouldn't hurt. However, if it were me, I would apply a quick cleaner wax (I like Klasse AIO for this) until you get the chance to finish the job. The added cleaning will insure a nice clean paint surface and the wax will protect it for a short period of time.

I would agree with Intel... giving it a light polishing when you are ready to finish is great advice. The light polishing will also remove the cleaner wax and allow you to go to any system you like.
