Thinking of trying Poorboys...

Hey guys. I have tried Meguiars and Mothers and I have had good results but I have heard great things about Poorboys. My truck is Vermillion red and it has a few light swirls that need dealt with. Would the SSR1 and EX sealant with carnuba be a good combo? Will I need to add a wax over the top of the sealant? I will be applying it by hand and I really want a combo that will make the color pop.

The SSR1 is a very, very light polish. It may handle the swirls by hand... and it may not. SSR2 might be a better choice if the swirls are a bit tougher than you thought.

The EX should look excellent on that color!

Thanks Boss. I just ordered some SSR2 and EX. How long can I expect the EX to last?

Depends on alot of factors...garaged vs not, daily driver and region. Put on a layer of EX and apply a second coat after 24hrs.

Trust me...you will get the itch to put on another coat waaaay before its durability wears out.

You can't go wrong with Poorboys. I have nearly everything on the market and Poorboys is #1 for me.

SSR1 is my favorite polish. I use it every 3-6 months and it gets the light swirls out with a PC. SSR2 will take out a lot of swirls, SSR3 for the REAL NASTY stuff.

EX is a damn good wax and will make your red shine like a gem. For light colors I recommend EX-P (my favorite).

Thanks guys, it sounds like I ordered some good stuff. I would like to try Pinnacle products sometime in the future.

Poorboy's makes some excellent stuff. While I haven't tried all of the stuff that I'd like to try from them, Spray and Wipe is one of my favorite products on the market today.
