Clay, is it worth it.

I have used Pinnacle PolyClay Bars several times with excellent results. It has a protracted application and difficult to work with. Is there an expeditious process, which gives the same or better results?

Thank you in advance for your response.

If you're looking to achieve the results that clay yeilds when your finish is rough to the touch, unfortunately, to my knowledge, there's really not much of another alternative.

There are, however, other brands of clay out there that work really well (Clay Magic, Mothers, Meguiar's, Poorboy's, etc...)

I've used both the Meguiars and Mothers quick clay kits and have been very pleased with both. It's defenitly a project to get into if you have a truck or a large vehicle but it is well worth the effort in the end when you feel how smooth your paint is.

Claying, is it worth it.

Thanks for the replies. I like both the feel and look of the truck after I have clayed the finish. I may try another brand just to see if it is a little easier.

Again, thanks.

A better mousetrap

I found this product on the F150 web site: http://autopolish.net/catalog.asp#LC

Has anyone used this product? Does it produce results on parity with clay?
