No problem Brian.

Keep in mind that #9 "hides" swirls as much as it "removes" them. That's not a bad thing, just something you want to keep in mind. There are other products, including many in the Meguiar's line, that do more "removal" than "hiding".

Does #80 help hide the swirls as well, or is it strictly a swirl removal product? How long does a good application of #9 usually last? I wash my vehicles a lot( at least once a week). Does washing remove some of the fill?

Very good questions Brian... it looks like Boss has given you some excellent advice (Scottwax is a super good guy too.....and a great detailer).

Washing 'can' remove some of the fill that #9 provides but, when this is happening, your last step product that you're utilizing is typically failing.

Think of it this way, you're going to 'seal in' your #9 work so, in order for the shampoo to remove those fillers, it'll have to go through the wax first.

#80 is far more of a 'removal' product than #9.

I followed the #9 with two coats of Mother's FX Synwax-so I should be good to go as long as I keep a good coat of waz on the truck, right? I guess when/if they come back, I'll try some #80. Hopefully, that won't be need for a while

I love it. Very easy to work with. Easiest product to take off I've ever used. I can't comment on the protection yet, as it has only been on there for several days, but everyone says it should out-last conventional waxes.

Brian,

I would have to agree! Synwax is a breeze to apply and remove. As for the protection, I'll probably never know, as I usually don't have a product on the finish long enough to tell. However, I can tell you this... it will last at least as long as NXT. I would simply apply another coat every 6 weeks or so... you'll be good. The cleaner/polishes in the Synwax will keep the paint in good condition and the polymers will protect it.
