Bugs!

Well, after a 700 mile round trip to Arizona and back to Cali, my truck was covered in bugs which I have delt with dozens of times before. I washed it, and got it all clean and everything, however this time I noticed that i still have the stained mark of the bugs. After trying everything from wax to Mcg's Scratch X rubbing compound, im still having a problem getting the stains off. Any suggestions?

Can you feel them with your finger? If so, they may be on the surface of the paint and can potentially be removed with clay. If you're not feeling them, you may have experienced the joy of acidy bugs... etching may have occured. If this is that case, it may be tough to correct.
