Just talked to Sal. He said Z8 should be out in one to two weeks!

OK, so I just ordered some Z2 Pro based on Boss 429's recommendation. What will the Z8 be?

2stroked,

You should have waited for the Z8 (Zaino Spray Sealant) to come out!

I've only tried the Z2 Pro, but I've heard from a reliable source that the spray sealant is excellent. I guess you would call it Zaino's version of a quick wax, only with "Z" in it.

Hey Boss,

Both my Z2 Pro and new Z8 should be on my doorstep tonight. With a little luck, I'll be able to do the whole routine this weekend. Based on past experience, be on the lookout for the worst snowstorm in recent memory to hit the northeast right after I'm finished.

01, and 2stroked:

Little tip......

Even though Sal recommends only using the Z8 is as a final detail, or for a show, give this a try:

Wash
Prep the paint with whatever you like to use.
Z6
Mix Z2 Pro with ZFX
Apply and remove a coat of Z2 Pro
Z8 (Yes Z8)
Apply and remove next coat of Z2 Pro
Z8 again.

HOLY COW!

Give it a try, and let us know how it works (with pics )

Hey Boss,

I did the Zaino thing this weekend with the new Z2 Pro and Z8 just the way you recommended. I have only two words to describe the results: hubba hubba! Now if I could only figure out two things. How does one take a picture of Oxford White that actually shows the effect, and how does one post pictures here. I guess you'll just have to trust me. Thanks!

It really is nice stuff........... I'm especially fond of the Z8. I plan on trying it over a couple other sealants.

Did Z add any products to the new line that will better deal with swirls? I'm interested in trying the 'new' Z as it is tough not to notice the types of reviews that it's getting.

Yes, you heard me correctly 01 XLT. LOL!
