Talking foggy headlights

HEY ALL, I HAVE A SMALL PROBLEM. I HAVE A 97 F-150 AND THE HEADLIGHTS ARE REALLY CLOUDY LOOKING AND I CAN'T SEEM TO GET THIS OFF. I'M NOT SURE IF ITS NOT ON THE INSIDE EITHER. I READ SOMEWHERE ON HERE WHERE YOU CAN ACTUALLY USE A MILD ABRASIVE CLEANER OR SANDPAPER TO BASICALLY RE-WORK THE HEADLIGHT FINISH. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE HELPFUL

THANKS,
DENHAM

I have always used Mother's "Plastic Polish" on my head and tail lights and this product seems to keep them looking like new!

However, I have always used this product as sort of a preventative step -- not sure what impact it would have on lenses that have already become cloudy (?).

You may consider PlastX. I've utilized this product on EXACTLY the same scenario that you've described with STELLAR results.

Thumbs up

Thanks Rock I will pick some up this weekend and give her a try. I just put in some new Sylvania Silverstars and can't seem to notice a difference with the foggy headlights. Hoping that will help though.

Thanks
