i've got an 04 supercrew lariat.

i'm swapping out my gold lariat honeycomb insert with the black bar style insert that i bought off ebay and was wondering if anyone else has done this before?

i heard that there are plastic tabs which hold the insert into the frame, and that they break easily. any tips?
