Some like a 100% cotton Chenile mitt and others like a 100% Lambs Wool mitt...
Personally, I prefer the lambs wool as it seems to hold more water/shampoo solution and thus, in my mind, would provide more lubrication against the paint.
Maybe that's all in my head but, I've tried both and it just seems better to me....

Yep, I think both 100% Cotton, or a high quality Lambs wool mitt are the way to go. Of course, with any mitt, the secret is to use the highest quality car wash, keep the mitt rinsed free of dirt after each panel ( in a separate rinse bucket), and clean the mitt properly after washing.
