Talking Great Interior Cleaner!!

I've been gone a while so I don't know if this is old news but here it is anyways..... I've always had a hard time cleaning the vinyl and plastic materials on the doors and arm rests in my 98 and I recently decided to try those Mr. Clean Magic Eraser things and they work great! The "viens" of the vinyl were always getting dirt and stuff stuck and the eraser got everything out. It all looks new now! I love these things! Just an FYI.

Yep. We've been using that a while around here... It's certainly an EXCELLENT cleaner...

But, with that in mind, we have had a user or two have some trouble with it burning through the coating on the plastic on some parts. With that in mind, always pre-test an area to utilze the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser prior to giving whatever you're cleaning the FULL TREATMENT. This may save you a headache in the end...

That Mr. Clean crap isn't touching my vehicle ever again! I'm going to stick with good 'ol fashion Soft Scrub. Works like a champ at cleaning the interior.

A little dab 'el do ya!

A nice wet cloth, a tiny bit and poof! Good as new interior.... I don't do it often, just when stuff gets really icky. Used it on my '97 F150 & '99 Expy. Haven't taken it to the '04 yet, but I don't see why not. Use sparingly and don't use to much force.. let it do the work!

Different strokes....

The ole' environmental saying of 'not in my backyard' applies here but in a different sense; 'not in my truck'...

Meguiar's APC+ at 10:1 for me. It's VERY hard to beat...

I use Armor All Cleaning Wipes. Seeing as my truck is not a work truck and there is usually very little if any ground in greasy dirty stuff, they work great at getting rid of the dust and light dirty spots. And they are lint free so that helps too!! Not sure what I'd have to use for really dirty stuff, RP what is APC+?

APC+ is one of those products that Meguiar's snubbed during the revamp of the DETAILER line of products. There are probably a few gallons of it left floating around out there but, for the most part, I think it's gone.

I do think that Meguiar's still has an ALL PURPOSE CLEANER (APC) in their D-line but, I'm not as familar with it. I have, however, tried the 'SAFE DEGREASER' and must say that I LOVE it.

My daughter decided to hit her chocolate ice cream cone onto the ceiling panel.

Is there anything that may remove to chocolate stain from the fabric without removing the fabric from the roof panel? The fabric is the Gray that Ford uses. Thanks

Try didi seven. I have been using it for years. It doesn't matter where you buy it, the stuff works. Do a google search on it.

I've said it before... baby wipes.

Doesn't matter which brand. These have solvents in them that will pick up red wines stains from carpet (house carpet, not truck before you even say it)
They do well at cleaning dirt from the arm rest, dash, headliner, etc

I would never use these things on a kid after seeing what kind of cleaning power they have (a little too caustic for baby's skin)

And they are cheap!

Thumbs up

For fabric spots, nothing I have tried works better than Lifter one spot remover. I have used it to clean the whole carpeted area, and makes the fibers sparkle in the sun again. For the door panels and dash I use the all purpose Ford cleaner. They sell it in the parts dept usually. Doesn't hurt the painted hard parts, or the soft padded stuff. Leaves a clean factory looking sheen.,,,,98
