Hard Water Stain On Windshield

Ok made the mistake of washing truck at home. My windshield now has a cloudy look when it's raining. When the wiper's are moving it allway's looks smeared. What is a good way to clean this off to get a clear windshield. The hard water streaks that dried on it even show's up when the wiper's are used.

White vinegar will dissolve the water deposits. Also, make sure that your wipers are clean.

I've found it easiest to saturate a paper towel and SLOWLY wipe it across the windshield. The acidity (and other chemical properties) of the vinegar will generally dissolve the minerals that cause the water spot.

Follow up with a quality glass cleaner like Meguiar's Glass Cleaner Concentrate or Stoner's and I think you'll be a happy camper.
