Any suggestions on cleaning front bumper?

I have a true blue fx4 and I'm having problems cleaning the bug stains off the bumper. I have washed, waxed tried everything to get it clean but the spots still remain. Does anyone have a suggestion or magic product to use.

Thanks

Try a dryer sheet

Saw this tip about a month or so ago. Dryer sheet dipped in your soapy water and just scrub it down. Bugs come off like magic. I tried it after love bug season on my front bumper and was simply astounded by the results. Doesn't harm the paint or anything.

Do a web search fo "rejex". I just got some and it works great. I think the name of the place I ordered was Aircraft Spruce and Specialty.

I watched Meguiar's Gold Class Bug and Tar Remover take care of some SERIOUS bug issues on a rental car that we were using at a 3-day training session that I attended.

At $5/bottle, it's hard to not try.

As a hint, when you apply this product, spray it on liberally (in a non-windy area to avoid overspray on your vehicle), allow it to sit for several minutes and then continue to follow the directions as perscribed on the bottle.

G'luck!

are you talking about the bug spots on the chrome bumper? maybe i'm misreading your post. i use a wet SOS pad on all my chrome parts( running boards, rear and front bumpers) now if it's the plastic lower valance i use a scrub pad and it cleans it right up. i haven't had a problem with the painted areas yet. i use the wet dryer sheets on those and it works great. might have to do it a couple of times but it does work.

The Bounce thing sounds crazy, but I can attest to its effectiveness. No discoloration on my bumper at all, and believe me, down here in FL, we just went thru a MAJOR love bug month.

We went through the love bug thing here in East Texas. The dryer sheets really do work. A quick trip to the carwash does the trick too.
