Ink mark on headliner

My lovely son accidentally made an ink mark with a ball point pen to my headliner. He is my only son and I do want to keep him around. Does anyone have any suggestions to remove this ink mark sefely?

As a question, what color is your interior. Sometimes it depends on the color for what you can use to remove it.

Spray it with aerosol hair spray and the ink should just disappear. You might want to check for color fastness in an inconspicuous area first but I have never known it to stain. If it leaves a sticky residue you can hit it with a soft brush and it should be good as new. I tried this on a friends van seats (light gray cloth) and the ink mark disappeared without any scrubbing!! Amazing!
