I know this is picky, but did anybody else notice that he's apparently polished (Zaino'd) the INSIDE of his exhaust pipes? Hmmmmm. One can only wonder how far in he's gone. Seriously though, that's one mighty fine looking L!

okay... time for the sarcastic remark...

ready for it?

It appears that Burt was quite "liberal" in applying the Zaino.

I'm not sure I want to come back to see the fallout from this...

Ahhh, someone noticed…

DWG International (DRI WASH ‘n GUARD)
Premium Metal Polish

2 coats and it is very easy to keep clean. Every time I wash the truck I use an old mitt on the tires and simply wipe the insides of the exhaust tips with the same mitt of any carbon build up (black stuff) which is very, very little.

I usually apply it every 3rd wash or so. Takes about 15 minutes to put on and then buff off. It is easy on and easy off just like Zaino.

LMAO…

Actually you could say I am a conservative moderate when it comes to detailing my truck. I use a conservative amount of Zaino as too much, or liberal, equals more work (don’t we know how that goes in the real world ) and then I apply a moderate amount of the DWG Dri Wash ‘n Guard to the exhaust tips and inside to keep them shinny…

Staying away from the liberal comment Burt?

Got an "in the sun" pic for you, BTW

01 XLT Sport,

Of course you realize that this gives a whole new meaning to the word "depth" when one is talking about detailing. As for me, I just polish the outside of my pipe - which of course leave another whole field open for comment.

By the way, I tried a new metal polish yesterday on my American Racing aluminum wheels - which have no clear coat. The product is called Wenol and I was given a quart by a friend to try out. All I can say is WOW! I've never gotten results this good. The wheels actually look like they were chrome plated. Better yet, it didn't take any more effort than anything else I've tried. Ever heard of this stuff?

No I haven't heard of it. Not surprised that RockPick has, he is a wealth of information when it comes to detail products. Hell I never heard of Zaino until RockPick sold me on it a few years back...

in the real world... liberal truck waxing would be to let someone else pay for the truck, then wax it and then let you drive it.

Oh, but not before they gas it up for you!
