buffing clear coat

Folks tell me you can buff scratches/scuffs out of clear coat. If this is true. How do I go about it.

Thanks

Depends on how deep it is. If you can easily feel it with your fingernail, then you are going to remove too much clear coat. The UV inhibitors are concentrated in the top .3 mils of a clear coat and you will definately go through those trying to get a scratch out that deep.

You can remove them but, like Intel mentioned, if you can feel it with a fingernail, it's probably beyond 'fixing'.
