Will clay take off overspray?

Im talking about like overspray from exterior house paint.

I'm an apartment framer, so my truck is a work truck and I dont mind if it gets dirty, but I would still like to get the paint overspray off of my truck. Is clay the answer to my problem?

Ive searched and it looks like it is, but I was just wanting some confirmation...

Clay is designed to deal with this type of surface contamination. Give it a whirl, pending that the spots that you're mentioning are large spots (more like a fine over spray), you're golden.

It's actually called overspray clay and was used in body shops until detailers start using it to pull other contamination out of the paint.
