RP, and all other F150 onliners.
I am suprised more people have not voted, as I was suprised that more people did not enter.

Apparently it will have to take big money prizes to motivate people, not just mear satisfaction of having people say " Nice ride, great job." But hey for me, thats enough.

Even though I havent got a vote..

oops, wrong thread...

That is true I would have thought more would have voted. Maybe you need to move it to the General Discussion or Lightning threads...

I was planning on voten for you for most of the time. Then got to thinking bout age of truck and what it takes to maintain that shine over time. SO
Maybe I will vote for ya in a year or 2. :santa:

Boy, some tough choices, but that DSG truck of BigDeal kept bringing me back. Terry's Lightning looked awesome to along with all the other rides. This just shows the ability of the common layman to get a quality shine out of our rides.

Thanks to those that voted for me, as I appreciate it and it makes my effort seem all that more worthwhile.

Hey Rockpick,

How about if we go back through to our pictures after the contest is over and edit them so that we can fill in the products we used. I think it would be of great interest what each of our process is to achieve the look.

I would have voted for me too until I saw MaxT's 'Gator. It has a couple years under its belt and its still got a better-than-showroom shine.

I was just messin' around with you anywho... but you already knew that.

I'll enter once I have some better pictures online. Right now, the pictures of my truck do not represent the ablity of detailing I can do. They are also taken in a parking lot.

I'll restate some comments I had in the voting thread.

I voted for Terry because it best showed off the criteria that RP posted. Other quality efforts:

sleddogg is my runner up for a picture that shows a quality detail effort.

01 XLT Sport who needs a better camera angle to show more reflections

Bartak1's hood shot is what every dark colored hood should look like.

jimbo5o's reflection is mesmerizing.

Bigdeal has a great glow.

Peacemaker and lifeguardjoe have excellent depth.

Man, I think I'm gonna cry. Thanks for the compliment APT. Thank you. If I had a case of beer, I'd give you half of it.

Excellent job by all who entered. It is a tuff chioce, you can tell everyone put some time into their trucks.

I will agree with APT on his list of reasons, pretty much my thoughts too.

Burt might have gotten a better look if I could see more than grill.

Runner up. I was just that close to a vote.

dzervit, didnt see you get that close. Ha Ha.

You know, I spend a lot of time on this site, but I didn't even know anything about the contest until just now when I saw the link in GD. I guess I should look around more, I think that's why a ton of people ain't here, at least for the judging. 01 XLT Sport, your truck is beautiful enough to make me believe in Zaino, but in the end, I had to give it to Terry, but not by much.
Good lookin` Fords!

I was surprised by the low number of votes myself. As far as an entry goes...no big money prizes needed here, just a day that I don't have a gazillion things going on so I can take the time to shine it up!! Maybe next contest.

Sled, you were a very close second on my list so don't feel too left out. It looked great, as did all the other rigs. Don't any of you feel bad for not getting a vote because all the trucks looked like a lot of work went into them. Personally it took me 20 minutes of looking at each one over and over to make my selection!! Great idea RP!!
