Hey Rockpick...I may be converted
Rockpick, I really don't follow the Meguiar's line-up anymore but am interested in this new NXT.
Do you have any link with detailed information on it or could you give me more information on it? Full synthetic? Synthetic/carnauba combo? Cleaners? etc.
I'd appreciate it.

Does anyone else think that Meguiar's #16 Paste Wax will work better at enhancing and protecting the NXT wax? Also, how many coats of NXT should be applied before the topper wax?
"Meguiar’s #16 is a winner. Life-long devotees to detailing have known (and tried to keep it a secret) that another fantastic use for the wax is as a topper. A “topper” is an extra layer on top of the initial protective layer that’s intended specifically to amplify and deepen the shine—more for looks than protection, though it does offer additional protection."

Big SCrew,
You would probably want to apply 2 coats of NXT (about 24 hours apart) before applying a topper.
Tough too say whether #16 would "improve" the look of NXT, as that depends on who's doing the looking. Try it for yourself, and come to your own conclusions.

#16 is an AWESOME product that has been around for a LONG time.
It's a VERY hard wax and thus, you need to apply in ultra-thin coats or you're going to hate it with a passion.

So on the red truck, did you notice a better or wetter shine after applying #26? I heard that #26 gives it a deeper shine, but takes away some of the wet look. I am not sure which way would look better on a red truck. I am leaning to the more wet look than a deep look. What do you all think?
So if I put a couple layers of NXT, then a couple layers of #26, what do I put on top of the #26 every month? Can I NXT on top of #26 every month (and keep the depth), or 1 coat NXT and top it with #26 again? Can they be used on top of each other, or would they need to be stripped off?
