Went to Lowe's to pick up a Porter Cable 6" variable speed sander for a woodworking project I have going on and came across a heck of a deal. Porter Cable is now including the polishing pad along with the sanding pad in the kit. So basically your getting the P/C 7424 polisher and the sander as one package. Best of all it's only $109.00 Anyone who has thought of getting the polisher may want to check it out. The item number is 7336sp.

 

I purchased the same unit about a year ago and have been very happy with it. The polishing pad is virtually useless, as it will fall apart in a short time. Yoy might be able to get a couple cars out of it. You need to get a velcro backing pad and then some velcro polishing pads and you'll be set.
