Hi to All,

Is it possible to overdo the waxing of my '03 black Supercrew?

I am currently using Meguiar's Gold Class liquid clear coat car wax.

Not with Gold Class........... it has cleaners in it, so it will remove any wax buildup each time you put it on, but the cleaners aren't strong enough to remove much paint.

 

And the shine of Gold Class in my experience doesn't last much longer than a week so you migh have to wax it so often.

When you are finished with GC, I recommend trying a different wax. If you want to stick with Meguiars, try their Body Shop Professional line, #26 high tech yellow wax.
