Question Water under carpet and molding

I recently discovered a considerable amount of water in the carpect edge and under the floor moulding at the bottom of the driver's side door (in the cab). This has occured twice and is defenatly related to heavy rain. When parked in my driveway, the vehicle is at a slight angle to the left or towards the driver's side. I have inspected the door seals, under the dash etc. There is no water around the back glass. The vehicle is a 2003 supercab with two small rear doors. Has anyone else experienced this problem.

Did you try putting a dollar bill on the top of door and closing? If the door is tight then your seal is good. Try it all around the top of door. If it is loose then you need to bring in your door closer to cab. I have ajusted a few at the ford dealership.

windshield seal

You may not even be able to physically see anything wrong with the molding or seal, but if there is a problem with a seal on your windshiled, water could be running into the cab and it would settle below your carpet.

By any chance was your windshield recently replaced?
