How long to wait before removing #26?

When using Meguire's #26 car wax, how long should i wait before removing it. Last time i used i waited an hour and it was very difficult to remove. I nearly had to scrub it off and i was very tired from just removing one coat of wax. please insight me. ALso is it makes any difference I use the paste, not the liquid.

You need to wait until the #26 has hazed up.

Your problem could be that you applied the #26 too thick. Normally, #26 remove quite easy when applied in thin coats.

Was the paint surface cool, and were you working in the shade?

If it happens again, mist some QD onto your MF towel, and remove that way............. sometimes the QD will help.

I just got done putting on a coat of #26 and have figured out that I put on too thick of layers last time I did it. But man this thing takes a while. I polished and put 1 coat of wax on my whole truck except the roof cuz i ran outta day light and that took 2 hours. But damn I love the feel of the paint. Tomorrow I will put on another coat. Its pretty damn reflective for white
