That's one "contest" I would be ashamed to "win".
It's tough enough during the winter months not being able to care for my truck as well as I do during the rest of the year. I try not to think about it when I can't do anything about it. It is supposed to get up to 40 (Farenheit) here today, so I already plan on washing, QD, and cleaning/conditioning the interior this afternoon
Looking forward to Spring...

I went from about the first week December, until just 3 days ago. Had to take her to the pay wash, but she got clean. Now it's snowing outside. Go figure...

Must be frustrating knowing you've got that NXT sitting on the shelf...

BTW - Did you keep the tonneau cover on?

Frustrating isn't the word. We haven't had a sunny day above 28 in nearly a month. When it is sunny, it's typically 25...

It's raining as we speak... we're 5.5" over normal snow for this time of year already and nearly 2" over the normal total precipitation amount (which is already wet)...

I hate winter.

Oh yeah, yep. The tonneau is on the truck but, soon to be on the ebay auction block I believe. I just can't convince myself that I like soft tonneaus... Plus, the King Ranch might be a memory soon... details to follow if and when it happens.

I'm so ashamed to think I opened this post thinking I might be in the running, and that I probably am is even worse... My truck looks absolutely horrible. Today was the first sunny day we've had in a while, but I don't think it ever got above freezing... I'm not real big on detailing my truck, but I always try to keep it clean inside, and out, and seeing out front today was just horrible.

I can't even remember when I washed it last...

I bet my neighbors are ashamed too... My truck sat in the yard today with my GF's black Civic which is almost as dirty as my truck... The only somewhat clean vehicle I have right now is brown...

Hehehe

Did the complete Mother's 3 step process just 3 days ago with a second layer of wax at the end. About a month before that I did a clay bar, wash, and wax. I only let it go for a whole month before going at it again last week because that was the first time with temps above freezing AND no snow or rain. By the way it was a 4 hour hand wash, glaze, polish, and 2 layers of wax in 40 degree weather. We had a heavy rain storm about 3 days after and boy was it beautiful how that water beaded on my finish.

I figure now all I have to do is one more layer of polish and wax at the beginning of the SUmmer and Ill be good until next Winter.

bloomquist,

Don't tell RP I told you this, but he was spotted at a local Chevy dealer looking at a new "Colorado"!
