Vinyl Tinting Question

Has anyone had this done?

Long story short, I bought a used beige soft tonneau for my KR.... the seller neglected to mention that it was faded in numerous areas to the point that it's about half grey...

What do upholstry companies do for something like this? Can it be fixed?

Here's a picture...

HELP!

RP,
That's a bummer! First the lack of installation instructions, now this. I would grab your local Yellow Pages and look up "Automobile Seat Covers, Tops & Upholstery". Hopefully you have at least one business locally that specializes in these things that you can talk to to get an idea of what it would cost to bring the cover back to a consistent & correct color. Maybe you'll get lucky and a member here has experience doing this kind of repair and could guide you. I hope everything works out...maybe this is life's way of telling you you should go with the other cover you were considering...but don't give up just yet.

Good luck,
John

I have a hunch you're right John. I think I should've gone with the ARE from the begining but, I've always liked this cover... maybe this will be a live and learn scenario...

I won't go down without a fight though... hopefully it'll all work out. I still haven't heard back from the seller but, I just emailed a few hours ago.

RP,

There's a suggestion over at DC for you. Not sure if it will work, as I have no idea. Worth looking into though?
