Tire Dressing/Proctection

OK, I've been shopping around trying out different Tire Dressings and so far I've dound the Turtle Wax to be the more worthless and the Black Magic stuff to be the closest to what I'm looking for.

I'm looking for the longest lasting wettest looking possible for the cheapest price Especially the Wet and Long part, the wetter looking the better

Any suggestions? Preferrably under $6 for a bottle

The stuff from Stoner seems to work very well. I bought it at Autozone. It comes in an aerosol can. I've tried lots of others. I usually run Michelin(sp) tires with raised white letters. All the tire dressings with Sufficants seem to make those tire crack severely crack. Stoner is sufficant free. I'm hoping it won't make the tires crack like the others did. It is supposed to be sufficant free. I went as far to call Michellin at ask for reccomendations on dressings. They said no dressings are approved It will be a year or two before I know if the Stoner stuff tears these tires up like the others did.

I am not a fan of the high gloss such as this one. A slight gloss is nice, though. Black Magic Trim/Tire Shine applied with an Eagle One Tire Swipe. It gives me the look I like as long as I buff it a little. It also lasts about 3-4 weeks which is a pretty long time. I have tried 303 but was not too impressed. I have heard good things about Stoners More Shine Less Time, but never tried it myself.

Thanks for the recommendations, I've been using Black Magic but it hasn't been lasting more than about 5 days at the most. Reason may be cause it rains five out of seven days here and it gets driven all over the place all the time (incl the rain) so that may have an effect on it.

APT: I like the first link you gave, I like my tires to be at least nearly as shiney as the paint

OK, thanks APT. Is that availible locally? I also like the dark matte finish on the tires but I just like the shine better

No Touch for easy application- Mequires if you want to work a little harder ( watch for fling off). Stoners does work well, but I have found it pretty expensive for the amount of tires you can actually get out of a can. No Touch offers several different levels of shine. It is a foam, does not turn brown. The more you use it, the less you have to use it, if you know what I'm saying.

Hmm, OK I'll have to try Meguiars tire stuff too, I'll see what Pepboys has in choices. I've been usi9ng Meguiars Wax and have been impressed with it. So hopefully they have the same looks with their tire dressing.

Here's a cheap tip that was mentioned earlier... the EAGLE ONE TIRE SWABS... they're only like $2 and are EXCELLENT for applying dressing. ENJOY!

They sure are!! They are the only thing I use and will ever use to apply my Z16 to the tires! Both the products are the best (Z16 & Eagle One Tire Swipes).

I too use the Stoner's stuff and really like it. It does provide a high gloss and doesn't fling too bad if you let it sit for a few hours. You won't find it lasting too long in the rain though - just like anything else. Rain seems to wash off about anything I've tried. WIth no rain, I find the Stoner's product to last about 2 weeks.

If you want something that will really last a long time go with the Zaino Z16...
