tire shine

Is there any tire dressing that doesn't turn the tire brown? I use Mequires gold class endurance high gloss, and it when I scrub the tires and it dries you see the brown!

The key is to make sure your tires are very clean from what I have found.

I use Westley's BleechWhite on a wet tire and scrub with a nylon bristled brush.

After washing and drying, I apply a coat of either Vinylex or Meguiars Natural Shine. I've been nothing but happy with the results.

Any water-based dressing shouldn't cause the tires to turn brown.

I use that Detailer's Advantage stuff. It's a gel. It says the shine is supposed to last over a week, and it's guaranteed not to turn your tires brown. It's some pretty good stuff.

The only tihng that I have seen make tires brown is dirt, or dust. Maybe dust in the air is attracted and sticks to the tire dressing?

I use Blakc Magic Tirm and Tire shine gel. I tried 303 and prefer a little more gloss.

I may be the odd one here (damn, I hear RockPick coming now ) anyway I am one of the few that does not like shinny tires. I like a real clean natural look to them. I like the Zaino tire shine because if you put one coat on it gives them a nice satin, natural look, not shinny. It last at least 4 - 6 weeks if not longer and through at least 4 - 6 washes.

If you put more coats of Zaino tire shine on it will give you a real shinny look. I don't know how long that look last because I have never done it. It has great UV protection and from what I understand will protect the tires from UV like the 303 does. I have the 303 that I use on my trailer tires to keep them from sun rotting, it does make them shinny but it's my trailer.
