touch up paint heat sensitivity

Does anyone know if the temperature that touch up paint can take is the same as the paint that is already on the vehicle? For some reason I'm thinking enamel might not be as strong...

I painted a few plastic pieces under the hood with factory touch-up paint... zero problems.
