warranty

I know you need to change your oil evey 5000 kms, but what about the 3 month rule for warranty. Sadly I only put on 5000 kms a year due to the fact my truck gets stored for the winter which is usually 5-6 months. Do you think Ford would harp on the warranty if I went over my time for oil changes.

I don't think you will have any problems with a warranty issue relating to the engine if something were to happen. If you only put 15km in the first 3 years under warranty anyway, I doubt you'll have any engine problems. For your shedule, I recommend changing the oil when you first take it out of storage, and also right before you put it into storage for the winter.

That is going to double his oil changes per year
With that low of miles per year, I couldn't see you ever getting a warr claim denied. 1 or 2 oil changes per year. Is there an ESP that is 12 years, 36,000 miles
