Have a 97 F150 flareside reg cab 2wd with airconditioning and the 5.4L. Have noticed that when the airconditioning is on there is not the normal leak of water under the truck from the evaporator. Also consequently there is a bad mildew smell when the air is turned on. Anyone know what procedure is required to remedy this situation?

 

I also had this to occur on my 97 F150. I stopped running my system on MAX very much and made sure I left the VENT ON while parked. This apparently allowed the system to air out and reduce the stink buildup.......... Haven't had it return since I began this procedure.
