I've got silverstars and love them. big improvement and from what it appears the best quality ones out there 10 dollar rebate out on them now, so for 30 bucks for the set you can't beat it!

Paid $15 for mine, including 8 1/4% sales tax
This doesn't mean the output is worth $15, though. The Silverstars look yellow, and have less light on the road where it counts compared to these. No offense to the Silverstar users out there, but try xenon bulbs once and you'll never go back.,,,,98

www.bulletcustoms.com It's not fully up yet, and they're a BUSY small shop. Owned and run by a good friend of mine. If they don't have a contact phone number, shoot me an e-mail and I can send it to you.,,,,98

The $500+ price difference?? Just my thoughts?,,,,98

I saw a set of Xenarcs at a show, the lenses looked like they were turning yellow?

Yeah... definately a price difference. The thing about that is that, IMHO, it's totally worth it. I've said MANY times that I wished I had spent the $800 when they first came out. They're worth that plus some...

As far as the yellowness... are you sure they were Xenarcs? The APC projectors have had a tendency to turn yellow (numerous posts deal with this). I've *NEVER* heard of the Xenarcs turning yellow. Mine sure aren't.

How much output difference is there between the stock bulbs and the xenon bulbs? Do they require any modifications to use them like heavier wire? Do they generate a lot of heat?

If money was no object, like for RockPick!, I might opt for some $500-800 light bulbs too! That ought to get a rise out of him, but I'm interested in your option.

Thanks,

Tom

LMAO... money not being an object... ROFL! I wish! HA!

Mine aren't bulbs though... the Xenarc system is a full replacement for the stock assemblies. You actually remove the entire headlight assembly and replace them with the Xenarcs, in short. They're worth every penny...

Nope, no modifications required, they're stock wattage. They put out WAY more light, at least with euro clear headlights that is.

Sorry Fill Up, I do speak truth here, LOL

Sorry to hear that angus, you got hit by the cheapo bulbs. I bought one set of bulbs from a company I didn't recognize. They didn't have any more (and possibly less?) output than stock. They were a pretty shade of blue though Stick with the major brands like APC, Eurolites, Nokya, PIAA, etc... and you should be okay. Hopefully these didn't turn you off of aftermarket bulbs altogether. There are good ones out there, and then there are the "blue" ones.,,,,98
