Cherry wet wax????

Well i need some answers about Cherry wet wax. Does it really make your vehicle look wet when you put it on and is it easier than liquid glass. I have a bottle of liquid glass but lately i haven't had enough time to use the stuff. So i need to know how easy it is to put on.

Liquid glass is a polish not a wax. You just rub it on and buff it off with a soft towel. You have to give it about 5 hours though for it to bake.

Natty sent me a sample of Cherry Wet Wax. It goes on easily and comes off easily. Kind of smells like cherries.

I didn't really do a direct, side-by-side comparison with anything but it did look good. I'll have to do more testing to really see how I like it. I might order a gallon in the future as soon as I use up some of the other wax I have.

Liquid Glass is a wax that has some mild cleaning agents in it. Mild cleaning agents can me the solvents they put in the product though so it doesn't mean it is abrasive.

Liquid Glass also has a pre-cleaner. I have not used the pre-cleaner before though.

I really like the Liquid Glass wax (polish). Amout of effort vs. results is great! One coat and you'll see big improvements! Really does look like glass.

Also, if I remember correctly it applies and remove relatively easily.

I did my truck in Cherry Wet Wax a few weeks ago and it looks great. the only thing previously used on my truck was Liquid Glass. They both go on and come off very easily. I think the CWW shine is deeper and the Liquid Glass is shinier on my dark grey truck, if that makes any sense.

They both work great, however, I think the Liquid Glass is more durable, but time will tell. Just remember ALL wax must be removed prior to using Liquid Wax or it will not bond.

I have been using cherry wet wax for quite a while and I like it alot. It last about the same as a Meg's #26 and I really like the shine it give's. It goes on & off easy, but will stain the trim if you get some on there you will have to clean it off,but most waxes ect... will do the same thing . Also to be completly honest the CWW is one of the product's I've used that I have had people come up to me at the gas station and say wow that really look's good. I'm not saying it's the best product out there but for the money it is great stuff and well worth it. They have a quick detailer/all purpose cleaner called Miracle Mist that work's excellent with the CWW . Both are great product's IMO.

If you have any question's check out their website at www.coatsproducts.com also you can get the phone number off the website and talk to Rick . He is the owner and is really a good honest guy.

Always thought liquid glass was just polish, guess i was wrong. The reason i brought this up is because there is a detail shop in town that is using some pink stuff in gallon bottles with the labels ripped off. It looks just like the pictures of cherry wet wax. My brother had his truck detailed by them and the stuff was put on in less than ten minutes. I was just amazed at how good it looked afterward, (Very wet) Is cherry wet wax what they are using.

i used to use liquid glass on my HD. got great results and went on and off easy, just left alot of dust buffing off, although the cali duster made short work of that.
Liquid glass contains NO caranuba wax or silicone either. I switched to zaino last year and IMO its a step above LG, but LG is fine for daily drivers or whatever, i just wanted more since i put my truck in alot of shows. the Z is actually easier on and off, and more durable and shines better, but more expensive, even more than the 20 bucks a can for LG

Ya just gotta remember, you can NOT use liquid glass over wax or anything else, but you can wax over liquid glass

Try to get some and smell it. If it has a cherry sent that kind of smells like medicine (sp?) then it is probably CWW

I wonder if the detail place will let me smell it. Pay them a dollar to sniff the wax for a couple of minutes or something. LMAO I think i will order a gallon of cherry wet wax just to try. I mean for $22 dollars it couldn't hurt.
